Biography
Ms. Pilato has handled legal issues on a myriad of subjects, concentrating with the land use/planning/zoning fields, municipal law, government law, corporate law and civil rights litigation.
As a land use/planning/zoning law attorney, Ms. Pilato has appeared before Planning/Zoning Land Use boards on behalf of public groups and private entities handling applications from conception through final approvals and related litigation. Ms. Pilato has served as Board attorney giving legal advice, drafting opinions and resolutions of memorialization and defending litigation matters.
As a municipal/government law attorney, Ms. Pilato is involved with ethics issues, local public contract law issues, open space/COAH issues, government affairs, election law and general municipal issues and litigation. Ms. Pilato has also served as Alternate Prosecutor in Piscataway Municipal Court.
Ms. Pilato has also been involved with other
endeavors, such as serving as the Somerset County
Bar Association High School Mock Trial Co-Chair,
acting as a pro bono legal advisor with the Resource
Center for Women and their Families and she is
involved in various current civic activities
in Bound Brook and throughout Somerset County.
Ms. Pilato also provides legal advice on election
law matters to the Somerset County Republican
Organization.
